Detailing & Paint Correction Studio
Restoring clear coat depth, optical clarity, and removing fine swirl marks safely under controlled conditions.
The Science of Refinement
Vehicle detailing goes far beyond standard washing. It targets embedded fallout, rail dust, paint swirls, and light scratches that degrade gloss. Our process focuses on reducing paint defects while conserving maximum clear coat thickness for future protection. We do not promise impossible showroom finishes; instead, we aim for practical paint clarity.
Paint Assessment & Depth Gauging
We measure clear coat depth using digital electromagnetic paint thickness gauges. This tells us how much material is safe to work with, protecting thin factory finishes or panels that have received previous correction work.
Deep Surface Decontamination
Before any polishing machine is switched on, we must remove contaminants. We apply chemical dissolvers to tackle embedded iron particles (from brakes) and road tar. Following this, a clay-bar sweeps away organic elements such as tree saps, leaving a glassy-smooth face ready for polishing.
Dual-Action Machine Polishing
Using dual-action (DA) polishers, we combine customized pads and abrasives to gently refine paintwork. We adjust our approach depending on whether the paint is hard (typically German marques) or soft (typically Japanese marques). This carefully clears swirl marks and scratches without generating destructive localized heat.
Final Solvent Wipe Down
To ensure scratches are genuinely refined rather than temporarily hidden by oils or fillers, we wipe panels down with high-quality isopropyl alcohol-based panel wipes. This reveals the true state of the corrected paintwork before protective layers are applied.
